About Seaside

We built the firm we'd want running our own money.

Seaside Wealth Advisors is a boutique Registered Investment Adviser for business owners, retirees, and families who've outgrown the cookie-cutter playbook, and want a plan engineered around the whole picture, not just the portfolio.

Two names, one practice

How Seaside came together.

Josh Jenkins founded Jenkins Financial Strategies in 2012 and spent a decade building a planning practice around the work most advisors skip: tax strategy, retirement income, and the kind of comprehensive planning that treats a client as more than an account number.

Allen Tyndall built Seaside Wealth Advisors on a different edge: real access to private credit and private real estate, the alternative strategies usually reserved for institutions. He and Josh first met in 2014, and when Allen moved to independence, he helped pave the way for Josh to do the same.

In 2023 Josh took his practice independent. In 2024 the two joined forces. Today we're consolidating everything under the Seaside name, which means our clients get the best of both: a planning-first practice with genuine institutional access, under one roof. Every client relationship, review, and year of history carries over.

What we believe.

  • 01

    Fees should be visible.

Most portfolios quietly skim half a percent a year in fund expenses you'll never see line-itemed. Ours run 0.03% to 0.05%, and we say so, on every statement.

  • 02

Taxes are a planning problem, not an April problem.

The best tax outcomes are engineered months ahead, alongside the portfolio, not reconciled after the fact by a CPA who never saw the trades.

  • 03

Income should be engineered, not withdrawn on a prayer.

We build portfolios around the cash you actually need, so a down market never forces you to sell at the wrong time.

  • 04

    Access shouldn't require an institution.

Private credit and private real estate have been walled off behind institutional desks for too long. For clients who qualify, we open the door.

  • 05

Boutique is a feature, not a limitation.

You know who's working on your account, who picks up the phone, and who's talking to your CPA. That's not a downgrade from a big firm. It's the whole point.
